Biosphere 2, a science research center owned by the University of Arizona, has a tropical rainforest inside of it. The rainforest is operated by Dr. Joost van Haren, who does experiments on various aspects of the rainforest. For example, he recently tested the effects of drought on plants in the rainforest.
